Sherrie
Schield serves as a paralegal to our intellectual property
group. Sherrie assists with the prosecution of U.S. and foreign
patent and trademark applications and coordinates with a network
of foreign associates regarding patent and trademark protection.
Sherrie maintains the intellectual property docket, communicates
with clients and related parties, manages the files and provides
a supportive role in all aspects of the organization. She
provides support to the legal team in patent and trademarks,
licensing and contract development.
Sherrie has more than 40 years of experience working in the
legal field. Prior to joining Jondle & Associates, P.C., she
worked for private practice firms specializing in various areas
of law, including corporate law and business formation, civil
litigation, estate planning and probate, mental health and
regulatory law, and real estate transactions. In addition to her
work in the legal field, she served as a legal technician in the
Transactions Section of the Legal Department of Resolution Trust
Corporation, a U.S. government-owned asset management company.
Sherrie obtained her legal assistant certification from
Rochester Community and Technical Institute, Rochester,
Minnesota with continuing education at Dakota County Technical
College, Rosemount, Minnesota, in business management. She has
completed several CLE courses and has attended numerous seminars
to gain additional knowledge of various aspects of the legal
field.
